About Arbitrum Security Program
The Arbitrum Security Program pays part of the cost of a third-party smart contract audit for projects building on Arbitrum. It follows the Arbitrum Audit Program, a $10M ARB program that started on Aug 1, 2025 and was reviewed by an audit committee of the Foundation, Offchain Labs and a DAO-elected expert.
You apply through an open form. If you are approved, you confirm your code is ready for audit, agree to subsidy terms, sign a commitment agreement with the Foundation, and are matched with one of 13 approved auditors, including OpenZeppelin, Trail of Bits, Certora, Cyfrin and Nethermind.
The subsidy goes to the auditor, not to you, and its size depends on the commercial agreement reached for each project. The Foundation expects about a month between approval and the start of the audit.
