About DoubleZero Grants
DoubleZero is a high-performance network for distributed systems, used heavily by Solana validators. Its grants program pays external teams, independent of the Foundation, for work that makes the network easier to operate, observe and use: dashboards, visualizations, observability and topology tools, and other infrastructure.
You can answer one of the published RFPs or pitch your own idea if it complements core development. Both go through the same form and evaluation. Proposals are judged on alignment with DoubleZero's priorities, clarity of scope and your ability to deliver, and you may be asked for a follow-up call or a pivot.
Grants are paid in 2Z from the DoubleZero token treasury, against milestones agreed in advance. The Foundation is clear that grants are a subsidy for scoped work, not a way to fund full-time roles or open-ended maintenance.
