About VeBetter Grants
The VeChain grant program funds developers building sustainability-focused X2Earn apps, tools and infrastructure for VeBetter, the VeChain app network that rewards users in B3TR for sustainable actions. App Grants go up to $30,000 and Tooling Grants, for protocol work, developer tools and infrastructure, go up to $50,000.
You apply through the form on the grants page. The VeChain grant team reviews your application, may interview you, and makes a grant offer with milestone terms. The proposal is then put to a VeBetterDAO community vote, and if it passes you receive an upfront payment, with the rest paid as milestones are completed. The process usually takes about four weeks.
Grants are paid in B3TR at a token-to-USD rate fixed when the proposal goes to vote, so their dollar value moves with the token price. After B3TR fell sharply, the DAO approved a one-time relief top-up for existing grantees in April 2026. Grantees now post milestone reports on their proposal pages, and the team publishes quarterly transparency reports.
