About Aleo Developer Grants
The Aleo Network Foundation's Developer Grants Program funds teams and solo developers building zero-knowledge applications on Aleo, a private and programmable layer 1. Its focus areas are payments, identity, gaming and DeFi, and every funded project must include open-source elements built on the Aleo network.
You submit a project overview, team background and grant proposal through the online form. The Foundation says it gives initial feedback within one week, then its technical team reviews feasibility, impact and fit with Aleo's privacy-first mission.
Grants go up to $100K and are paid as you hit development milestones, with technical mentorship and community promotion on top. Past grantees include the teams behind Puzzle and Leo Wallet, and StorSwift received a retroactive grant for proposing Aleo's first community-driven protocol changes.
