About IOK Fund

The IOK Fund is the funding arm of Ignite on Kaia, the Kaia Foundation's onboarding program for dApp teams. It pays for go-to-market work such as marketing, user acquisition and reward campaigns, so teams can focus on building the product.

When the fund launched in 2024 (as Ignite on Klaytn), each applicant picked an IOK partner, such as a marketing, wallet or data provider, and the grant was paid to that partner for services. The current IOK form asks for a requested budget from under $5,000 up to $20,000, and the separate funding request form also covers reward matching, infrastructure costs and event sponsorship.

The foundation calls IOK an evergreen program that is always open barring exceptional circumstances. Funded teams must report results against the on-chain goals they set in their application.

How applying works

    Fill in the IOK dApp form on kaia.io with your project, the partners you need and a budget band.

  2. 2

    Request funding

    Complete the IOK Fund request form with the amount, purpose, usage plan, target KPIs and a pitch deck.

  3. 3

    Foundation review

    The Kaia Foundation reviews the application and contacts eligible teams with individual guidance.

  4. 4

    Run and report

    Run the funded campaign or service and send the foundation a results report against your stated goals.
