About Hashgraph Innovation Program
The Hashgraph Association is a Swiss non-profit that co-funds the development and rollout of solutions built on Hedera. It has three tracks: an innovation program for startups, co-funding for large enterprise projects in digital assets and decentralized finance, and support for national government blockchain initiatives.
The process is closer to an investment review than a quick grant. After you apply, the team screens your application, holds a 30-minute interview, decides go or no-go in a weekly call, signs an NDA and runs due diligence on your technical, business, legal and financial setup, including KYC. The board then votes, once a quarter.
The Association says the whole process usually takes 6 to 8 weeks from application to board review. It also runs a membership program for companies building on Hedera and co-organized the Hedera Africa Hackathon.
