About SDF Marketing Grants

SDF's Marketing Grants fund growth and user acquisition for projects built on Stellar. They sit next to the Stellar Community Fund, which pays for development: once your product is built, a marketing grant can pay for getting users to it.

The money can go to paid digital ads, offline marketing and events, PR and communications, in-app incentives such as sign-up bonuses and referrals, and outside agencies and tools. It cannot be used for anything that promotes speculation or the price of XLM or other Stellar assets, or for promoting products that promise interest or returns.

Both new and existing projects can apply, but SDF reserves the grants for teams with clear use cases and timelines that can set budgets and benchmarks, run campaigns and show results. SDF evaluates traction, mission, impact, feasibility and capability.
