About World One
World One is a three-month residency for a small cohort of solo builders who want to build in public and ship new products using World ID, World's Proof of Human technology. It is sponsored by the World Foundation and run by Tools for Humanity (TFH) from its San Francisco office.
Residents get $10,000 a month for three months ($30,000 in total), desk space in the Tools for Humanity office in San Francisco and direct access to the TFH and World Foundation teams. There are no assigned deliverables or roadmap. In return you are expected to build in public, ship, and give feedback on World's developer products.
The first cohort takes up to five builders. You apply through a form on world.org, and selection is at Tools for Humanity's sole discretion. If you get an offer, you have ten days to sign the program terms and finish identity checks, KYC, sanctions screening and payment onboarding, including an IRS Form W-9.
