About Kusama Vision Bounties
Kusama Vision is Web3 Foundation's plan to turn Kusama into a testbed for privacy and other experimental tech. It funds three bounties from a shared pool of 10M DOT: Zero Knowledge Proofs, Proof of Personhood, and Art and Social Experiments. Each one is an on-chain multi-asset bounty on Kusama with its own curators, website and application form.
The ZK bounty funds builders who add zero-knowledge proofs to Kusama parachain runtimes, smart contracts and applications, such as ZK libraries for PolkaVM, selective disclosure and ZK identity, private governance, private DeFi and post-quantum proof systems. It also publishes requests for proposals, and it asks teams to build on Polkadot Hub's Revive stack (Solidity/EVM or PVM) rather than ink!. The Proof of Personhood bounty funds sybil-resistant ways to prove you are a unique human without revealing who you are.
The Art and Social Experiments initiative funds artists, researchers and collectives whose work deals with privacy, digital sovereignty and surveillance, typically up to $10,000 per project. Grants are agreed in US dollars and paid in DOT on Kusama Asset Hub, in installments set for each project.
