About Vinteum Grants
Vinteum is a non-profit Bitcoin research and development center based in São Paulo. It trains, mentors and funds open-source Bitcoin developers, mostly from Brazil, through seminars, the Bitcoin Dev Launchpad, a fellowship for early-career developers and a grants program for experienced contributors.
Grants are long-term and flexible, so grantees can work on their own direction with little management. Vinteum funds Bitcoin Core and protocol work, Lightning implementations, privacy and scalability research, fuzzing and testing, wallet libraries and SDKs, and education that helps new developers get started.
Current grantees work on Bitcoin Dev Kit, Floresta, Stratum V2, LND, P2Pool v2, Bitcoinfuzz and BTCPay Server. Some came through the Launchpad: after its second cohort Vinteum funded 12 fellows and two new grantees.
